How does Discovery Pico Tattoo Removal work?

Most appointments take 15 to 30 minutes depending on the size of your tattoo. Before any lasering, our technician will numb your tattoo with lidocaine agent, making the lasering of your tattoo easy and relaxing. Some people report very minor discomfort post lasering, but typically it is nothing worse than a mild sun burn or soreness. In preparations for a comfortable treatment session, we suggest wearing loose clothing the day of treatment, so it doesn’t touch your tattoo.
What is recovery and aftercare like?
Often, you can return to your regular activities immediately. We will dress the treated area with a medicated ointment and a bandage post-treatment and off you can go about your day. In most cases, the bandage may be removed within a few hours of treatment. We recommend washing the area with an anti-bacterial soap and applying a medicated ointment at least seven days following each treatment. Your tattoo will be sensitive to the touch and you may experience some mild swelling while the ink begins to fade.
